Designers Delivery Service, Inc. is a receiving, storage and White Glove delivery company catering to interior designers, builders, fine art and antique dealers, and furniture showrooms.  We focus on Southern California, but work with clients all over the world.  DDS was established in 1995 by CEO Luke Whitlinger, with a desire to provide White Glove service that focuses on efficiency, quality customer service, and a high level of professional handling.  Our company has a reputation for reliable and expedient problem solving.  Our skill lies in supporting you with your projects, helping to overcome any unplanned obstacles to achieve exceptional results for you and your client.  


DDS is centrally located in Orange County, California and has completed a wide range of projects locally, state wide and across the country from a single piece to large custom homes and office environments.  Our company owned fleet of trucks can accommodate any size load.  We are fully licensed and insured, and have enjoyed serving the industry for almost 25 years. Our employees are dedicated to going above and beyond to provide quality service to our clients.


DDS will pick-up or receive, inspect, repair, store, and consolidate your product at our facility.  We keep clients up to date with activities regarding their products via phone, e mail, and password protected 24 hour online inventory access.  Our warehouse is very clean, organized, and provides over 15,000 square feet of storage space.

Luke Whitlinger

CEO of Designers Delivery Service, Inc. and Installation Manager, Luke Whitlinger, has almost 40 years of experience in the delivery and installation industry.  Luke has inspired his team to be leaders in White Glove Service, with a strong attention to detail, high level of professionalism, and a can-do attitude to exceed our client's expectations. His experience and expertise is invaluable and a driving force behind the success of Designers Delivery Service.  

Experience

Starting off in delivery and installation for the model home industry in 1983, Luke Whitlinger went on to install systems furniture  for large commercial facilities, government and law enforcement, entertainment, and healthcare.  Experience with the myriad of lines in the industry enabled him to become a unique problem solver, as parts and pieces from the manufacturers often failed to ship for items needing to be installed. In 1995 he was inspired to branch out on his own, creating a company that focused on customer service and repeat business.

Focusing on the high end residential market in 2001, Luke created a strong team that understands high end furniture, and the care it requires.  He has continued to provide excellence in service, as well as a unique sensitivity to the client and end user that is a requirement of the luxury market.  Luke's knowledge of space planning and code restrictions for both commercial and residential environments allows him to trouble shoot on-site. Completing a project in the more professional, efficient, and cost effective method is his hallmark.
